We have upgraded our facility to take the guess-work out of our analysis. In our office we are proud to offer the latest in nervous system analysis. The Subluxation Station utilizes several different, non-invasive, painless tests to measure the overall function of your spine and nervous system. The technology was created by NASA in order to measure the gravitational effects of space travel on the body's various systems. It is the same technology utilized by professional sports teams from the NFL, NBA, and MLB.

| We realize that a structure is only as strong as its foundation. That is why our comprehensive analysis begins with a digital, thermographic foot scan, which will demonstrate how well your feet are supporting your body. Misalignments in your feet can affect the biomechanics of your whole body. If misalignments in your feet are detected, we can fit you with custom made orthotic inserts that will correct the problem. | |

| The Adjustment | |
| At the core of chiropractic treatment is the adjustment. The adjustment of the affected joint restores mobility, thereby alleviating pain and muscle tightness, and allows tissues to heal. Our doctors are trained extensively in both hands-on, manual adjusting techniques, as well as low-force, instrument adjusting techniques using a hand held Activator. In addition to spinal adjusting, our office is one of only two chiropractic facilities in Charleston County to feature an on-staff Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP). This means we have the training to address all of your neuromuscular complaints, from your feet and ankles all the way up to your elbows and shoulders. |

| Massage Therapy | |

Joint subluxations, troublesome enough on their own, are almost always accompanied by tension or injury in your soft tissue. Over time, tight, inflamed muscles suffer poor circulation and can develop glue-like adhesions. This prevents the muscle from lengthening completely. Painful trigger points can also develop, referring pain or tingling to other areas in the body. In extreme cases, tight muscles can compress nerves just as painfully as a subluxation. Massage therapy specifically addresses the soft tissue damage that accompanies the vertebral subluxation complex. It is an excellent complement to your chiropractic care and can significantly increase the speed and degree of your healing. |
